Caring for your By Bel Peice

At By Bel, we want your piece to be cherished and worn for years to come. Proper care plays a big part in preserving its beauty, fit, and fabric integrity.

We use a variety of fabrics to suit the design, drape, and intention behind each garment. Below is a general care guide based on fabric type.

  • Natural Fibres

    100% cotton, linen, cotton/linen blends, rayon

    We love natural fibres for their breathability and comfort. These materials may require extra care but are well worth the effort.

    Care Tips:

    • Machine wash on a gentle or normal cycle in cold water with like colours
    • Avoid hot water — natural fibres may shrink up to 5%, even on a cold wash
    • Air dry flat or on a hanger
    • Iron on a cotton setting while slightly damp to reshape and remove wrinkles

  • Synthetic Fibres

    Polyester, lace, satin, cotton/poly blends

    Some designs require synthetic or blended fabrics for structure, drape, or detailing. These fibres are easier to care for but still benefit from mindful washing.

    Care Tips:

    • Machine wash on a gentle or normal cycle in cold or warm water (no hotter than 30°C)
    • Wash with like colours
    • Air dry and iron on a low synthetic setting if needed
